Please lose the shades..

What is going on with Kanye West and the venetian blind shades he is rocking? I read somewhere where he paid like $250 a pair and just purchased 100 pairs. I recently saw a pix and him and the minion behind him were rocking a pair. Is that a job requirement now, gotta wear what the boss is wearing? They both looked ridiculous.
