FINALLY!

After months of rumors, Nicole Richie confirmed Tuesday that she is pregnant. "Yes I am. We are," Richie told ABC News' Diane Sawyer for an interview to be aired this week. "I'm almost four months." Richie's boyfriend, Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, is the father, she told ABC, which issued a news release about the interview.

MediaTakeout is reporting that Kim Fields married her boyfriend, Broadway dancer Christopher Morgan. Congratulations to them on their nuptuals and their new little one. After looking at a couple of photos of him, I hope she will not be having a Terry McMillanesque press conference in the next couple of years...

Newscaster Robin Roberts has been diagnosed with breast cancer

I never thought I'd be writing this. … I have breast cancer.

It all started a few weeks ago. We had gotten the news that our dear colleague and friend Joel Siegel had passed away and we began preparing for our special tribute show for him. I did a piece about Joel's courageous battle with cancer, reporting on the way my friend had lived his life and been such a successful advocate for the importance of early cancer screenings.

That very night when I went to bed, I did a self breast exam and found something that women everywhere fear: I found a lump.At first I thought, "This can't be. I am a young, healthy woman." Nevertheless, I faced my fear head on and made an appointment to see the doctor.

Much as I was hoping the doctor would say it was nothing, she did a biopsy and confirmed that the lump I'd found was indeed an early form of breast cancer.Hearing the doctor say those words out loud was surreal.I will be having surgery shortly and follow-up treatment in the months to come.

So in the coming months, you will probably notice that I will have my good days and my bad days, but I know I will get through it with the love and support of my family and friends. Diane, Sam, Chris and all of the folks behind the scenes who make this program come to life each and every morning have been so supportive and loving at this challenging time. To you, our viewers, please know that your thoughts and prayers very much sustain me as they always have each and every morning when I sit in the chair next to Diane and say "Good Morning America." You have always been there for me … and I love you back.

Ladies, make sure you do your monthly breast exam and start getting your mammogram if you are in your late thirties/early forties. I had my first one last year at 39. There was an unusual mass and I had to go back and have a more intense exam. It turned out to just be a cell mass but it was still scary during those few days when we did not know. Fellas, same goes for you with the prostate. Make sure you get checked if anything seems unusual.

The Latest on the Usher/Tameka saga...

“As of right now we don’t have a date but we will let you know when we do.” The couple, who had scheduled their July 28 wedding at the Long Island home of music executive L.A. Reid, called off the ceremony at the last minute without explanation. Multiple newspaper and online outlets speculated that the cancellation was due to bad blood between Foster and Usher’s mother, recent reports about Foster’s criminal past, and Foster’s resistance to signing a prenuptial agreement. However, a source close to the couple dismisses the rumors.

“People are just hating,” says the insider, who reveals the real reason they postponed the wedding was due to a pre-term labor scare. According to the Usher source, at noon on Friday, the four-months pregnant Foster was admitted to St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York City after suffering cramping. But upon examination, says the source, “she learned it was just uneasiness brought on by the stress of the wedding.”

At that point, the singer decided to postpone the ceremony. But no worries. “Everbody’s fine. Tameka and the baby are fine,” Usher himself told Usmagazine.com on July 31, after the couple arrived via private plane in NYC. Foster chimed: “We’re good. We’re all doing great now.”

I still just think this chick is a media hound and she is using Usher to put herself out there. Never a good look to let somebody come in and clear out the relationships that you have established over the years in a matter of months.

MONICA BOWIE IS MISSING

This young lady was taken from her apartment in the Lenox Area on July 5th. A car that was scene leaving the area was later found abandoned and burned. I have not seen any recent coverage on this lately on the news. I did read about it in Creative Loafing. There is police contact info at the top of the page.

Brit has to pay him $15K a month for child support and $20K a month for spousal support. That $35,000 THOUSAND A MONTH until November. Boy better put them stacks away and invest them wisely, he won't get another comeup like that again. They got joint custody. Bet she offers him an addition chunk just to ride off into the sunset.

Tameka in Labor?

Apparently Tameka has checked herself into the hospital, reports are still surfacing to confirm. If she is really pregnant and she is having issues, I hope she is OK, as I would not wish motherhood issues on anyone. But if she isn't pregnant and has been pulling a scam the whole time, then this is a perfect time to pull the "I am having a miscarriage" routine. Stress of the wedding, then wedding called off, she is stressed out...yada yada...

Brit and KFed to sign the final papers today

Reports are coming out that the trainwreck that is Britney Spears and her scowling, wannabe rapper baby daddy will sign their final divorce papers today. Apparently all sides have worked out whatever they needed to work out. Maybe its the cynic in me, but he has always struck me as the type that randomly met Britney, went home to Shar, told her that he met Britney, then they wrote down the masterplan - "Taking Britney Spears Money -101". I could just knock the scowl off of his face with one swift kick to the neck and Shar is a whole 'nother story..

Vick calls into V-103

Michael Vick called in today to the Porsche Foxx program and expressed his gratitude towards fans that have remained loyal. He stated "To all my fans, I love ya'll" and added that "it's a crisis situation but I'm gonna get through it". He also expressed that he wants to be at training camp and that he has put Arthur Blank through alot.

Did anyone go to the rally that was yesterday? I had not heard about it and a family friend (shouts out to ya, Mia) called and said it was going on. About 200 people showed up to show their support.

Latest Vick update...

10:07 am - One of the co-defendants in the Michael Vick federal dogfighting case entered a guilty plea on Monday and pledged to fully cooperate with prosecutors.

Tony Taylor, 34, of Hampton, Virginia, appeared in Richmond's federal court to change his plea under the plea bargain. He will be sentenced December 14.

In true Florida Evans fashion..."Damn.....Damn....Damn..........". Not looking good for Mike..

Word on Usher is...

Ursh flew back into Atlanta on Sunday cause he could not get married without his mama being there and came back home to apologize to her and make amends. More to come...

One of Mike Vick's co-defendant's is scheduled to meet with prosecutor's in about an hour (9:00 am). There are two theories working - 1) The guy is going to drop dime on Vick or 2)He is going to take the fall for the whole thing. Considering that the both of them had a falling out about 3 years ago, I'll drop my coins on option #1...

Is Tameka really pregnant?

I am still reading so much info on the cancelled wedding that was to be this weekend for Usher and Tameka. Some sources are saying it was called off for her criminal record, some are saying that she may have lied about being pregnant, some are saying that Ush just came to his senses. But I do have a question. They claim she is pregnant and due in December. That's the 12th month. A baby takes 9 months. That makes the time of conception around the 3rd month, March and therefore she should be about 4-5 months along. Why is she not showing yet? If she was that far along, she would be showing big time...that is...if she's pregnant. I'm sure there will be more to come.

Homer and family and their critically bashed movie pulled in almost $72 million over the weekend. On the other end of the spectrum, the highly anticipated and critically acclaimed "Who's Your Caddy" made a whopping $2.9 million. Go figure...

Do you remember the show My Sister Sam?

I remember this show, had Pam Dawber (Mindy on Mork and Mindy) and Rebecca Schaeffer played Pam's little sister. Well, some nutjob became obsessed with Rebecca, found her with the help of a private detective and rang her doorbell one morning and shot her to death in 1989. She was only 21. I remember when this happened and it was so random and so horrible. Somebody decided they wanted to make a pincushion outta him and stabbed his ass 11 times on Friday. Serves him right and I hope a trustee manages to pour some salt in his open wounds...

Britney Spears little sister pregnant???

The Enquirer is reporting that Brit's 16 year old sister, Jamie Lynn, is pregnant. Although I hope this is not true, I would not scoff at the Enquirer. Some of the stuff printed in there is actually true and I have seen articles in there where they announced something was about to happen or someone was pregnant and it turned out to be accurate.

How creepy is it to be a celebrity sometimes? All of your personal family bidness is out there in them streets. And not just stuff that you or your people release, but people dig for things and have spies everywhere to get them the scoop. Once again, I hope this is not true...

Eddie and Tracey engaged ALREADY?

They have only been dating since October and have already had to deal with him and his paternity suit and her finally getting a divorce from Babyface. Supposedly he has given her a Cartier yellow diamond engagement ring that is almost 8 carats. OK, you may have know each other for a while but is it really cute to be trying to get engaged now? Do ya'll believe the rumors that Eddie is gay? And if so, is he doing this to dispute thoe rumors? Like how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop, the world may never know...

So what happened?

OK...the nuptuals for Usher and Tameka have been canceled with no explanation. Were they really going to get married this weekend or was everything just a big publicity stunt to get everyone talking and to keep them in the spotlight??? We'll see...

OK...you normally don't see many mother/celebrity son situations on blast such as this Ursher/Mama/Tameka mess. I Don't get it. Usher, I realize you don't own anyone any explanation cause you are a grown man and you are free to make your own decisions. But c'mon man, puttin' this chick, or any chick, over your family and staff? I've never been a huge fan and your mom may have done something that we don't know about that has caused you to shut her out.
